Take Time to Count Your Blessings
Happy New Year everyone. I can't believe how long it's been since I posted an updated blog. My etsy shop went a bit crazy before the holidays and I did the Christmas crafting season so I was BUSY!!
Congrats to my sign winner - Sheila from Florida! Her sign went to her November 1. One thing I forgot in my tutorial was how to distress the sign. I knew it looked off and couldn't figure out why or how until two weeks after I had done it. Ahh - such a work in progress.
As we begin the New Year - I decided not to make an New Year's resolutions. Instead, I decided to make a list of my blessings and focus on those. Each day I'm practicing an attitude of gratitude at what I have (not just materially - but regarding people, relationships, health, etc.). I want to be more mindful on the positive and not the negative. Not about what needs changing - but what is right and positive - and focus on those things - if that makes sense!
Happy New Year, and my hope is to be more consistent with blogging and getting good information and food for thought out there this coming year.
